TYTEWADD SURGE ARRESTOR - MANUFACTURER'S
ONE-YEAR REPLACEMENT LIMITED WARRANTY
|
1. Manufacturer warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the surge arrestor you have purchased will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the date of sale to you, when installed, operated and maintained in acoordance with our written instructions enclosed with the product.
2. If within one (1) year from the date of sale, the surge arrestor is or becomes defective as to materials and/or workrmanship, the manufacturer will furnish a replacement unit to the original consumer purchaser at no charge, subject to the following conditions.
You must deliver the unit to your dealer or to us at your expense promptly after you discover the defect and subject to our right of inspection. You must provide proof of purchase or affirm to us that you are the original purchaser of the unit.
We will not pay installation costs incurred by you in connection with the replacement. Our address is as follows: Tytewadd Power Filters, 545 South Harper Avenue, Springfield, Missouri 65802.
3. Our surge arrestors are designed to sacrificially self destruct when lightning or any excessive power surge exceeding the capacity of the surge arrestor comes in
through the powerline to your service entrance panel. In the event of such an occurrence within one year from the date of sale, we will replace the unit on behalf of
the original consumer purchaser only at no charge. After the first year and through the fifth year in the event of such
occurrence, we will replace the unit for the original
consumer purchaser only at one half of the current retail price of the unit, paid in advance. The procedures in Paragraph 2 must be followed and the same terms and conditions apply.
4. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IS LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITTNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AFTER ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF SALE TO THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER.
MANUFACTURER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT, MANUFACTURERS LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
5. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY IF THE SURGE ARRESTOR WAS TAMPERED WITH, INSTALLED IMPROPERLY, OR NOT INSTALLED BY
A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN, MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY CAUSED BY PRODUCT MISUSE OR
ALTERATION OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTALLATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS SUPPLIED BY MANUFACTURER, OUR
INSTRUCTION SHEETS SPECIFICALLY ADVISE AGAINST INSTALLATION OF OUR SURGE ARRESTORS ON CIRCUITS SUPPLYING POWER TO
REFRIGERATION UNITS. WE WILL ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF REFRIGERATED ITEMS.
6. This limited warranty gives you specific rights which may vary from state to state: Some states do not allow limitations on
how long an implied warranty lasts. Some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential darnages, so the limitations in Paragraph 4 may not
apply to you.
7. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS PRODUCT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT OR SYSTEMS WHERE THE FUSE AND/OR CIRCUIT
BREAKERS FAILS TO OPEN DUE TO MISAPPLICATION OF THESE DEVICES. THE USER OF THIS SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE SHALL BE LIABLE FOR
THE PROPER UTILIZATION OF THE FUSE AND/OR CIRCUIT BREAKERS AS IT RELATED TO THE AVAILABLE SHORTCIRCUIT CURRENT AND THE
PROPER PROTECTION OF SAME.
